Our Fall 2019 Magic the Networking event has come and gone. It was a great event! We had people from all walks of life, students, professionals, people looking to get into tech, and people who have been in it for years.
We have many people to thank for making this event all that it could be! First, we want to especially thank Game Grid in Lehi for providing a wonderful venue for the event, as well as running the Magic games. We also want to thank Rocky Mountain RPG Guild, Mount Ogden Gaming Company, and Under the Wing Gaming for coming and running D&D games during the event. It was fantastic to be able to expand our event to more than just Magic! Thank you for bringing your all to the gaming side of our event. None of this would be possible without all that these groups did.
We want to thank the companies that supported the event. Domo and Henry Schein provided swag and raffle prizes, as well as players and booths for people to speak with for questions and to pass along resumes. The purpose of this event is to bring together people in tech to build their networks, and help connect them with great companies in our area. These companies made that a reality. Additionally, we want to thank the team from TimpCon for coming to support the event. Thank you to all of these groups for your support.
Finally, thank you to all of the people who came out to support us. Networking is about building connections with people. We couldn't do any of this without you! Thank you!
