Hey everyone! I hope you are all doing well with all that is going on! Things are certainly crazy, and it is important that we do our part to help in all that is going on. With that in mind, Tech Networking and Games will be working closely with the game stores that host our events to make sure we do our part to help flatten the curve for COVID-19. For the time being, we have canceled our monthly meet ups in the Ogden Area. For the Lehi Area Monthly Meet ups, we will still be holding our scheduled meet ups, however we do ask that you:
Do not come if you are ill, or if any person you live with is ill. Keep your sniffles at home.
All participants will be asked to abide by Game Grid's practices during this time. This includes taking temperatures, and wearing a wrist band. They will not be allowing large groups at one time, so we will be subject to their store cap as well.
Hand Sanitizer will be provided at our event. Please use it.
UPDATE - This is no longer true. Due to recent developments, we are going to cancel our Lehi event as well for March. Game Grid in Lehi is canceling all of their events until April 1st to abide by the recommendation to keep groups to 10 and under. We will not be scheduling a new location for the same reason.
Overall, we want to do our part to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and get to the other side of all this.
That being said, the impact of COVID-19 will be far more than just to our physical well-being, but also to our economy. Networking and building connections to help when opportunities do aries is all the more important in a time like this.
